I have bought the new Acer Aspire 3 A317-51G and have the same issue. This notebook have no OS installed, only LinuxShell, so I installed Windows 10 Home 64Bit. In install progress there was no mouse, I must plug-in a extern mouse. Windows 10 is newest version 1909 with all updates. FN-Keys and Touchpad not working. In Windows -> Settings -> Devices there is no «Touchpad» entry. «Mouse» entry have no touchpad-functions.
In Bios there is no «touchpad» setting. I installed Acer Touchpad drivers, thats not help. I installed AcerCare, which says all fine, no updates needed. Where is the problem?

приветствую вас, почему может не работать тач пад на ноутбуке?
Дело может быть в драйверах?
Весь веб облазил ничего толком не отыскал, схожее на мою делему, но у меня даже кнопка включения не работает. помогите, ПК срочно нужен!

Порядок действий при появлении заморочек с тачпадом
Если у вас появилась неувязка с Touchpad-ом, то стоит сделать такие деяния:
1) надавить Fn + F7. Launch Manager должен быть за ранее установлен;
2) отключить ноутбук от блока питания, вынуть батарею на пару минут, назад ее воткнуть, подключить блок питания и включить ноутбук;
3) переустановить драйвера для тачпада (Synaptics, ALPS либо ElanTech), также утилиту Launch Manager;
4) испытать откатится на раннюю точку восстановления, не поможет — обновить либо переустановить ОС;
5) если все предложенное выше не посодействовало, то стоит отнести ноутбук в сервисный центр.
Как найти модель установленного Touchpad-а
В Диспетчер устройств, в разделе Мыши и другие указывающие устройства находите тачпад. Щелкаете по нему правой кнопкой мышки и в меню выбираете Характеристики. Позже перебегайте на вкладку Сведения и выбираете пункт ID оборудования:

Для тачпадов Synaptics, ID-оборудования имеет вид ACPI\SYN.
Для тачпадов ALPS — ACPI\PNP.
Для тачпадов Elantech — ACPI\ETD.

I recently bought Acer aspire 3 A315-42 after a while my setting is freezing every time I open it, then I reinstall windows 10 and my touchpad is not working I can’t even see the touchpad setting in Bios and the F+key is not working, I check the device manager and there’s no mice and other pointers, but if I connect a mouse it appears does anyone know how to fix this?

Could you please tell us the version Windows you have in your laptop, updating to latest Windows might resolve the problem.

You could try reinstalling Serial IO driver, go to Acer support site, download Serial IO driver version 30.100.1915.1 and install.

A similar problem with nonfunctioning touchpad occurred with my Acer SP314 running Windows 10 Home version 1909 just updated on March 17, 2020. I purchased the computer in November 2019, with all working well. This changed in early January 2020. Does the fix you suggested to brummyfan2 apply to my machine?

Hi,
i did exactly that. installed IO. On restart it goes to the login/pin screen and the touch pad works. However, as soon as i am logged in the mouse pointer disappears and the pad has stopped working. I also installed the touch pad after that. same thing.
For some reason the touch pad gets removed as soon as i am logged on.
Thoughts or ideas?

Не работает тачпад на ноутбуке Acer
Ребята, здрасти. На моем ноутбуке Acer Aspire закончил работать тачпад. Как я знаю, на ноутбук ничего не проливалось. Ну и сам я, обращался с ноутбуком осторожно, никогда не лупил по нему и т.д. В общем грешу на операционку, если кто что знает, будьте добры, подскажите. Может есть какое нибудь решение задачи с тачпадом.
Надеюсь на вашу помощь в этом вопросе.

Чувак, часто так бывает, что юзеры, сами того не подозревая, случаем отключают тачпад жаркими клавишами на клавиатуре ноутбука. К примеру, я когда только начинал воспользоваться ноутбуком, конкретно таким макаром залочил для себя тачпад. Композиции таких кнопок различные, так что точно какие наверняка не скажу. Могу только предложить те, что знаю: зажать кнопку “Fn” и кнопку “F7” либо же выищи кнопку на клавиатуре в виде изображения, панели и зажми ее вкупе с кнопкой “Fn”.
Надеюсь это поможет, ну либо хотя бы вы узнали что-то новое.

Привет, может быть вы когда-то подключали мышь от какого-то производителя в собственный ноутбук, которая имеет свои драйвера для мыши. Такие драйвера могут отключить тачпад. Их можно удалить через “Диспетчер задач”, чтоб войти в диспетчер зажмите Win+R и в строке “Выполнить” вчеркните devmgmt.msc. В открытом окне найдите строчку “Мыши и другие указывающие устройства” и по порядку удалите драйвера, попутно проверяя заработал тачпад либо нет.
Если после удаления тачпад не фурычит, то попытайтесь перезапустить систему, может быть, после чего заработает. Мне посодействовало, может поможет и для вас.

Один из самых действующих и всераспространенных решений, это откат либо обновление драйвера тачпад. Сделать это можно через диспетчер. В самом диспетчере отыскать строчку Acer TouchPad либо что-то наподобие этого. Надавить на характеристики драйвера и в открывшемся окне избрать откат либо обновление.
Часто тачпад перестает работать из-за обновлений windows, так что сможете их отключить, хотя не советую. Всетаки обновления важны и улучшают систему, но на собственный риск сможете отключить их.

Попытайтесь установить утилиту под модель вашего ноутбука, если не ошибаюсь именуется Acer Care Center и через нее попробуйте накатить драйвера на тачпад. Через нее же, сможете сделать диагностику, чтоб выяснить есть ли какие-то проблемы. Еще сможете произвести чистку. В общем достаточно нужная утилита, советую ей пользоваться.

Может у вас окислился шлейф из-за неизменных перепадов температуры и из-за этого тачпад не стал работать. Такую делему решить без помощи других достаточно тяжело, потому лучше обратится в сервис. Но если у вас золотые руки, то сможете сделать сами, за ранее заказав шлейф под ваш тачпад и поменять его разобрав ноутбук. Если в этом не разбираетесь, то лезть не стоит, потому что можно сделать еще ужаснее.
Просто подыщите сервис лучше либо проконсультируйтесь с тех. поддержкой Acer. Может быть они предложат сервис в вашем городке.

У меня была схожая неувязка. Не зная, как ее решить я перепробовал кучу разных вариантов, в конечном итоге переустановил виндовс и всё заработало. Долго пытался разобраться, даже порывался разобрать ноутбук, но потом вспомнил про старинный способ с переустановкой и помогло. Да, не лучший способ, но точно действенный, если дело не в аппаратной части ноутбука.
Тут уж только ремонт в сервисе поможет.

Возможно обойтись без переустановки винды, а просто восстановить систему до точки когда всё было нормально. Конечно, если вы не отключили бэкап в виндовс. На десятой виндовс это можно сделать нажав на значок уведомления и выбрав пункт “Все параметры”. Потом “Обновление и безопасность” — “Восстановление”.
Можно удалить всё или же сделать восстановление с личными данными, что куда лучше. Тут уже выбор за вами.

Здравствуй, а ты проверял включен ли тачпад в Биосе. Если нет, то попробуй проверить и включить, если отключен. Делается это легко, комбинацией кнопок “Ctrl+F2”. Во вкладке “Advanced” найдите строку Internal Pointing Device и поставьте [Enabled], после этого выйдите сохранив настройки через “F10-Yes”. Лично я, только так смог заставить функционировать свой тачпад.
Из банального, можно посоветовать чистку тачпада в сервис центре или собственноручно, навряд ли поможет, но можете попробовать.

Спасибо! Неожиданно этот способ помог. Не пойму как отключил его в биосе, но наверно случилось само в системе, когда неожиданно вырубался ноут, просто с тачпадом я не сразу заметил. Можно снимать вопрос.

Я делал полный сброс настроек до заводских на своем ноутбуке Acer, потому что тоже столкнулся с нерабочим тачпадом. Скажу что мне это помогло, и тачпад стал работать. Нужно будет зайти в BIOS и включаем опцию D2D Recovery, потому что она отвечает за включение и выключение функции сброса, поставив [Enabled], далее жмете F10, чтобы сохранить настройки. Во время перезагрузки ноутбука зажимаете кнопки Alt+F10 и заходите в функцию восстановления.
Выбираете “Восстановление заводских настроек операционной системы”, а далее по накатанной подтверждаете. Только не забывайте, что данные диска C: будут перезаписаны, поэтому перед этим сохраните самое важное.
