If any of the following warning lights or the indicator light turns on/flashes, the system may have a malfunction. Contact an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer to have your vehicle inspected.
Абс Warning Light
If the Абс warning light stays on while you’re driving, the Абс control unit has detected a system malfunction. If this occurs, your brakes will function normally as if the vehicle had no Абс.
Should this happen, consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer as soon as possible.
- When the engine is jump-started to charge the battery, uneven rpm occurs and the Абс warning light may illuminate. If this occurs, it is the result of the weak battery and does not indicate an Абс malfunction. Recharge the battery.
- The brake assist system does not operate while the Абс warning light is illuminated.

Master Warning Indication/Warning Light
With Multi-information Display
(Master warning indication)
Displays when notification of the system malfunctions is required.
Check the message indicated in the display and consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.

The master warning light displays when a warning message occurs.
This indicates a malfunction with the vehicle system. Check the message indicated in the display and consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
For details, refer to the explanations for the warning/indicator lights, in the warning/indicator lights section, which match the symbol in the upper part of the display.
If a message is not indicated in the display, operate the INFO switch to display the “Warning” screen.

Without Multi-information Display
The light illuminates continuously if any one of the following occurs. Consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
Electric Parking Brake (EPB) Warning Light
The warning light illuminates when the system has a malfunction. Have your vehicle inspected at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
Brake Pedal Operation Demand Warning Light (Some Models)
When only flashing
Flashes if there is the possibility of the vehicle not being held in the stopped position by the AUTOHOLD function, such as on steep slopes. Depress and hold your foot on the brake pedal.
When flashing and beep sound is activated at the same time
The warning light flashes and the beep sound is activated for about five seconds if there is a problem with the system. If the warning light flashes and the warning sound is activated, immediately depress the brake pedal and stop using the AUTOHOLD function then contact an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
Immediately depress the brake pedal if the warning light flashes and the beep sound is activated while using the AUTOHOLD function:
Because the AUTOHOLD function is cancelled forcibly, the vehicle may move unexpectedly and result in an accident.

Electric Parking Brake (EPB) Indication/Indicator Light
This warning has the following functions:
Parking brake warning/Indicator light inspection
The light illuminates when the electric parking brake (EPB) is applied with the ignition switched to START or ON. It turns off when the electric parking brake (EPB) is released.
When the light is turned on
If the light remains turned on even if the electric parking brake (EPB) switch is released, an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
When the light is flashing
The light flashes if the electric parking brake (EPB) has a malfunction. If the light remains flashing even if the electric parking brake (EPB) switch is operated, consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer as soon as possible.
Check Engine Light
If this light illuminates while driving, the vehicle may have a problem. It is important to note the driving conditions when the light illuminated and consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
The check engine light may illuminate in the following cases:

- The engine’s electrical system has a problem.

Automatic Transaxle Warning Indication/Warning Light (Some Models)
The indication/light illuminates when the transaxle has a problem.
If the automatic transaxle warning indication/light illuminates, the transaxle has an electrical problem. Continuing to drive your Мазда in this condition could cause damage to your transaxle. Consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer as soon as possible.

4WD Warning Indication (Some Models)
“4WD system malfunction” is displayed

- When there is a malfunction in the 4WD system.
- When there is a large difference between the tyre size of the front and rear wheels.
“4WD system high-load” is displayed
The indication is displayed under the following conditions. Park the vehicle in a safe place and check that the warning indication light turns off, and then drive the vehicle. Contact an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer if the indication is continuously displayed.
4WD Warning Light (Some Models)
When the light is turned on
The light turns on under the following conditions. The system may have a malfunction. Have the vehicle checked at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
- When there is a malfunction in the 4WD system.
- When there is a large difference between the tyre size of the front and rear wheels.
When the light is flashing
Park the vehicle in a safe place. After a few moments, if the warning light stops flashing, you can resume driving. If the light does not stop flashing, contact an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
TCS/DSC Indicator Light
If the light stays on, the TCS, DSC or the brake assist system may have a malfunction and they may not operate correctly. Take your vehicle to an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
Air Bag/Seat Belt Pretensioner System Warning Light
A system malfunction is indicated if the warning light constantly flashes, constantly illuminates or does not illuminate at all when the ignition is switched ON. If any of these occur, consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer as soon as possible. The system may not operate in an accident.
Never tamper with the air bag/pretensioner systems and always have an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer perform all servicing and repairs:
Self-servicing or tampering with the systems is dangerous. An air bag/pretensioner could accidentally activate or become disabled causing serious injury or death.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System Warning Light (Some Models)
If the tyre pressure monitoring system has a malfunction, the tyre pressure warning light flashes. Have your vehicle checked by an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer as soon as possible.
If the tyre pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates or flashes, or the tyre pressure warning beep sound is heard, decrease vehicle speed immediately and avoid sudden manoeuvring and braking:
If the tyre pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates or flashes, or the tyre pressure warning beep sound is heard, it is dangerous to drive the vehicle at high speeds, or perform sudden manoeuvring or braking. Vehicle drivability could worsen and result in an accident.
To determine if you have a slow leak or a flat, pull over to a safe position where you can check the visual condition of the tyre and determine if you have enough air to proceed to a place where air may be added and the system monitored again by an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer or a tyre repair station.
Do not ignore the TPMS Warning Light:
Ignoring the TPMS warning light is dangerous, even if you know why it is illuminated. Have the problem taken care of as soon as possible before it develops into a more serious situation that could lead to tyre failure and a dangerous accident.

KEY Warning Indication (Some Models)
“Keyless System malfunction” is displayed
This message is displayed if the advanced keyless entry & push button start system has a problem.
Contact an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
If the message is indicated, or the push button start indicator light (amber) flashes, the engine may not start. If the engine cannot be started, try starting it using the emergency operation for starting the engine, and have the vehicle inspected at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer as soon as possible.

“Set Power to OFF” is displayed
This message is displayed when the driver’s door is opened without switching the ignition off.
“Key not found” is displayed
This message is displayed when any of the following operations is performed with the key out of the operational range or placed in areas inside the cabin where it is difficult for the key to be detected.
KEY Warning Light (Some Models)
If any malfunction occurs in the keyless entry system, it illuminates continuously.
If the key warning indicator light illuminates or the push button start indicator light (amber) flashes, the engine may not start. If the engine cannot be started, try starting it using the emergency operation for starting the engine, and have the vehicle inspected at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer as soon as possible.

Security Indicator Light
If the engine does not start with the correct key, and the security indicator light remains illuminated or flashing, try the following:
Make sure the key is within the operational range for signal transmission. Switch the ignition off, and then restart the engine. If the engine does not start after 3 or more tries, contact an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
i-stop Warning Light (Some Models)
When the light is turned on
A problem in the system may be indicated under the following conditions. Have your vehicle inspected at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
- The light does not turn on when the ignition is switched ON.
- The light continues to remain on even though the i-stop OFF switch has been pressed while the engine is running.
When the light is flashing
The light continues to flash if the system has a malfunction. Have your vehicle inspected at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
High Beam Control System (HBC) Warning Light (Some Models)
The light remains turned on if there is a problem with the system. Have your vehicle inspected at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.
If the windscreen area in front of the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) is fogged or obstructed, the light turns on temporarily. If the light remains turned on, there may be a problem with the system.

Adaptive LED Headlights (ALH) Warning Light (Some Models)
The light remains turned on if there is a problem with the system. Have your vehicle inspected at an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Мазда Repairer.

If the vehicle is driven on a road with less traffic and few vehicles that the radar sensors can detect, the system may pause. However, it does not indicate a malfunction.

- Always use tyres for all wheels that are of the specified size, and the same manufacture, brand, and tread pattern. In addition, do not use tyres with significantly different wear patterns on the same vehicle. If such improper tyres are used, the system may not operate normally.
- When an emergency spare tyre is used, the system may not operate normally.

Я практически на прошлой неделе купил Мазда 6 GJ, приехав домой около 30 минут не мог поставить машину на паркинг, верней она на него ставала но выдает ошибку: Set Shift Level to «P» после Set Power to OFF ( Установите рычаг выбора диапазонов в положение «P» и Установите выкл. зажигания в положение OFF (ВЫКЛ),

Первым же делом начал находить решение на ютубе, так как всегда был «визуалом», ну и промотать на подходящий момент можно не вчитываясь в текст, сообразил что толком то и видео на данную тему нет, ( после все таки нашёл но без «голосового сопровождения» ).
Дальше начал находить на DRIVE2 решение препядствия, но к огорчению все писали посты приблизительно так: КАК РАЗБИРАТЬ ТОРПЕДУ УЖЕ 1000 РАЗ Ведали НЕ БУДУ, В ОБЩЕМ ВОТ ТАК СДЕЛАЛ ВСЁ ОК!
Но так как я новый обладатель мазды 6, мне не понятно как разбирать торпеду. Приходилось гуглить каждый шаг, это как Вы осознаете занимает время =( около 15 минут «скролла» бортжурналов, сообразил в чем сущность и как решить.
Я всегда снимаю видео про свои ремонты машин чтобы история была очень прозрачной, вот и про эту ситуацию решил сниму видео в каком пошагово ОТ и ДО покажу как все таки убрать данную делему.

Так же у меня при включении кондюка, шел из дефлекторов противный запах, поколупался в вебе, натолкнулся на решение очисткой вот такими «баллончиками», есть разные конторы, но по стоимости и составу тормознул на вот этом:

«Set Power to Off» displayed after turning CX5 off
Not sure which sub forum to put this in so I’ll try here. Let me know if it should be in a different one instead.
Have a 2014 CX-5 grand touring push button start with factory option remote start. Has just over 32k on the clock. Today when my wife parked the car and open the door she got a «Set Power to Off» warning like she did not turn the car off. But, all the radios dash etc looks like the car is off she just gets that warning when the door is opened. Brake was depressed and car in park when turning off. Nothing she could do would get that message to go away. Unfortunately when that message is present the doors won’t lock. I went and pulled the negativel off the battery. Put the negativel back on after 30 seconds or so. Sat in the drivers seat pushed in the brake pedal car is in park. Start button lights up green each time I push the brake pedal in. I figure the brake pedal sensor is OK. Push start. Starts like normal. Still in park I push the brake in and turn the car off. Dash and radio and everything turns off but when I open the door I get the same message.
Maybe neutral safety switch?
Pull the neutral again. Start car up like normal. Put car in neutral. While brake pedal is depressed I turn the car off. I get a «Put car in P» message. Put car into park and message goes away. Open door and get the «Set Power to Off» message again. Obviously it seems to knows the difference between park and neutral when I turned it off. so maybe the Neutral safety switch isn’t the issue.
Not sure what it could be? I figured Neutral safety switch or some type of brake pedal sensor but I’m not so sure now. I’ve got 4k left on my warranty but the two closest Мазда dealers are no longer Мазда dealers so a service call means a ~2hour drive one way. Just wanted to make sure where wasn’t something quick I could check or try before making the drive.

Why do you press the brake pedal when turning the car off? I just put it in Park, remove foot from brake, press Power button to shut off. Done.

Probably force of habit from the Cadillac which required a brake pedal depressed in park to turn the car off. Just assumed the Mazda was the same.

Like many cars the CX-5 has off, accessory and on mode. You cycle between them by pressing the power button with your leg off the brake pedal.
While the engine is on:
* If you press the power button in neutral, the engine will turn off, but the car will remain in accessory mode, so the radio can be used etc.
* If you press the power button in park, it will turn completely off.
From accessory mode, make sure you shift to park then, with your leg off the brake, press the power button once to switch to on mode and once more to switch to off mode.
To skip accessory mode, shift to park and press the power button to go to off mode.
This is the expected behavior as explained in the manual, assuming your vehicle works as intended (which might not be the case).

I left the battery unplugged for a couple of hours and tried it again. We’ve had the car for over 2 years so this is obviously some new behavior. I can cycle through the ACC ON and what should be OFF. It acts as if it is turned off the radio and everything is totally off. But when I open the car door I get the set car to off message and can’t lock the door. I’ve shut it off in park. In gear. In neutral. Doesn’t matter. No matter howany times I push the start button I always get the same message.
