A Гугл search of the error code shows that this error code has been around for many years and the common suggestion is that it usually relates to problems within the computer or OS (e.g. a faulty driver, a corrupt registry file, damaged RAM, etc). There is nothing to suggest that this error code occurs with any particular software like Vegas Pro. Last year it was fixed for me by uninstalling the last Microsoft Security update, and letting it reinstall itself over time. Not a solution for every cause and every case.

cpu INTEL i9-9900 3.60 GHz, 32GB installed ram, Win10 64 bit, updated, NVidia Geforce RTX 2070. Vegas opens properly. Timeline is working properly and i can edit. Project is about 60min. long. Mixed media video and photos. I have scanned media in files on the computer. I would like to add additional photos. When i click on folder to access the photos, i get the Problem Report with the detail listed above. I can add photos from Project media, just cant import new photos

Are you pulling the photos in through Windows Explorer or Vegas Pro Explorer?
I used to have problems just dragging and dropping files in through Windows Explorer, but since I’ve been doing it through Vegas Explorer, I’ve had no problems.

I use the Explorer within Vegas, This was working from the start of my project, and then started occasionally Problem Report. Now, I can’t use this method at all. The folder will open, and within a few seconds, Vegas crashes.

In my time of editing videos so I can post it up for the world to view I have used a product known as Vegas Pro 14. Formerly known as Sony Vegas Pro I have come to use this program as it would add more detail and whatnot. I have been really satisfied with how my videos turned out and am pretty well acquainted with the program itself. However, I have recently come across a problem with my program. Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005). When this first happened I thought it was just some glitch that appeared with my video, so I redid everything and started to render the finished creation. But this same problem has occurred. I tried to reinstall the program but it still messes up. I tried messing with the preferences tab as per the Youtube video I watched instructed, still messes up. I tried turning off the GPU acceleration and it still messes up. I have held the CTRL + Shift key together before I booted up the program and checked the box and tried rendering the video, and yet again, Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005). I am clearly very pissed as I swear I tried every trick in the «How to Compute 101» book (Sarcasm) and got no results, in fact I may have мейд it worse. I will post all the error messages I have received since the time I started pasting it into a separate Word document.

My question for all of this is if there is another solution I can try to use and fix this situation I have with the rendering stage of my program. The first time this happened the problem always occured at a certain point, although it’s hard to tell now.

I believe you’ve been running on empty for sometime. And, now, something has pushed your B141 over the edge. I’ve had this happen to me.

@Cornico I’m not entirely sure how to supply you with all the information you need, but I did get the clean installation of Vegas Pro 14 with it’s new build 270. And yet the problem still occurs. I will post the mediainfo for the corrupted rendered video, one of the file properties from my project media and then all of #9 from the post of one Nick Hope.

1. I want the video for Youtube. My Resolution is 1440×1080 and it’s FPS is ~30.

2. Just upgraded the Vegas Pro 14 to build 270 and it works for other types of videos I rendered.

7. I tried to render it as 8 Mbps HD 1080-30p Video. Output Format = Windows Media Audio 9.2. No custom settings for the rendering.

Basically the symptoms I receive are. It stops at a certain point. So this time it stopped at 35 %. And then I receive a message in a separate window saying that my Vegas Pro had stopped working. 9. It’s hard to say exactly where the problem is. The program just stops working and that’s really all I can tell you. I can’t say for sure if the rendered video is the problem or if it’s the preview window. However I can say that when I checked over a «fully rendered version» of the video, the audio stops exactly where the last image on the preview screen of the rendering process stops.

Из безопасного режима

Бывают случаи, когда из-за ошибки 0xc0000005 не может запуститься сама утилита wusa.exe. В этой ситуации необходимо выключить компьютер, загрузиться в неопасный режим с поддержкой командной строчки и удалить обновления вручную.

Для этого сделайте последующее:

Перезагрузите компьютер и на шаге включения зажмите кнопку F8.
В окне загрузчика изберите «Безопасный режим с поддержкой командной строки» и нажмите Enter.
